Default Replacement charger?

Hey guys,

I just lost the charger to my HTC Inspire (d'oh!).

Before I wander out and buy a replacement - what is the voltage output of the original HTC charger?

I have a micro USB cable that seems to fit, and might do the trick. It plugs into a standard wall socket (with plug adapter), with 5V/0.85 A output, and an input of 100-240V/0.15A. How does this compare to the original?

I've tried googling, but no go. Any ideas?

Default

Mine has a 5V / 1A output.

The 0.85A output will work, it just might charge more slowly.

I think the current available from the USB port is 0.5A

I have a charger for a Bluetooth headset that only has a 180mA (0.18A) output, and it works in a pinch...just takes a veeeeeeeeery long time.
