Default Proper setup of att.net email accounts

I had a bit of trouble setting up my AT&T email address because the default settings it had were for Yahoo! accounts and it did not work for my att.net account.

However I messed with it and these are the proper settings if anyone else has the same problem:

login: youremail@att.net
password: your password

Email type: POP
POP Server: pop.att.yahoo.com
Security type: SSL
Port: 995

SMTP Server: smtp.att.yahoo.com
Security type: SSL
SMTP Port: 465

Default Problem setting up att.yahoo accounts

I set up K-9 client and had difficulty setting up my att.net account. I have a sidekick and my carrier is Tmobile.
I'll merely repeat here what I found in other posts:
Incoming (fetching):
under user name type (username)@att.net
Under POP3: pop.att.yahoo.com
SSL always
Authentication type: Plain
Port: 995
Outgoing (sending):
smtp.att.yahoo.com
SSL always
Port: 465
Authentication type: login (i did not try automatic)
Username: (username)@att.net
Password
NOTE: THE REAL PROBLEM I HAD WAS IN USING WI-FI TO ATTEMPT THE SETUP. ONCE
I SWITCHED G3/4, IT VANISHED.

Haha glad someone found it useful. I actually came searching for this thread because I just flashed a new ROM and I needed these settings again.
