Default Rooting Samsung Galaxy S4 gt-i9505

Hi everyone,

I've followed the various sets of instructions but Odin just fails every time

this is what the readout says :-

<OSM> Enter CS for MD5..
<OSM> Check MD5.. Do not unplug the cable..
<OSM> Please wait..
<OSM> CF-Auto-Root-jflte-jfltexx-gti9505.tar.md5 is valid.
<OSM> Checking MD5 finished Sucessfully..
<OSM> Leave CS..
<ID:0/004> Odin v.3 engine (ID:4)..
<ID:0/004> File analysis..
<ID:0/004> SetupConnection..
<ID:0/004> Complete(Write) operation failed.
<OSM> All threads completed. (succeed 0 / failed 1)

Any help would be appreciated as I am not entirely sure what I am doing wrong!

Thankyou

Download Kingo. Run it. Connect your phone to your computer. Click the Root button.

Welcome to our AndroidForums, blakey1152!

I've moved your thread over to the International all-things-root area for the S4 for you.

The good folks in this area should be able to give you their thoughts and impressions about Kingo and other root methods for your S4.

Best of luck!
