Default [ROM][CWM][GSM] ICL53F Deodexed Rooted Busyboxed + Softkeys MOD (12/16/2011)

This is just a very basic stock ROM. I deodexed the ICL53F Google system image (Android 4.0.2) rooted it and installed busybox. I saw that no such stock ROM was available and decided to share mine.

Features
  • Stock 4.0.2 ICL53F
  • Deodexed Framework and System Apps
  • All APKs Zipaligned
  • Latest Superuser and su
  • Busybox Installed
  • Insecure boot image (adb remount privileges)

Requirements
  • GSM Galaxy Nexus
  • Clockwork Recovery

Screenshot

Instructions
  • No need to wipe data coming from any stock or MCR ROM
  • Boot into Clockwork, make a backup (highly suggested)
  • Wipe dalvik and cache
  • Flash ROM
  • Reboot
  • Profit!

Some things to watch out for
  • The first boot will take a few minutes
  • Facebook app doesn't display text...no idea why. Looking into it.

Awesome, Fab!

And good to see you again!

I'll update the ROM guide that VS created to include this.

Cheers!

Wow. I'm excited to see the community around this device getting so big so fast.

Just out of curiosity Fab...will you be supporting the LTE version as well once it's available to the masses?
