Default rooting nexus

Hi hope someone can help.

My nexus is running android 4.1.1 (OTA). Lost root after this.tried rerooting using nexus root toolkit 1.5. When I run unlock it goes through the motions but does not wipe my data and says it is unlocked.I then root and it completes ok but phone is not rooted.

When I updated to 4.1.1 youtube app stops at boot up , on the market it shows as not suitable for my device.

Try reinstalling the Nexus Root Toolkit -- and make sure you have the latest version. It's now on 1.5.2

When I rooted my Nexus last week, I was coming from ICS. I used Nexus Root Toolkit 1.5. When I rooted my wife's Nexus, she had already received the 4.1.1 OTA and it wouldn't root! What? Luckily in the days in between the Nexus Root Toolkit had been updated to now cover 4.1.1. I downloaded and installed the new Nexus Root Toolkit 1.5.2 and it rooted my wife's phone just fine.
