HTC One X - Very Low sound.

Hello. I have a HTC One x
Using google navigation and navigon the sound is quite low and hard to hear.
My old HTC Desire was loud enough.
The ROM i am using is Android revolution HD 5.2.0
Any ideas on why the volume is so low.

The device has been restarted. I have all volume levels on full.
I have the the normal sound profile.
Is there an app or some mod to increase the volume level.
I've already applied the below links fix and didnt really help much.

I have the same problem, just on navigation, on music the speaker is plenty loud enough. Is there anyway to increase the volume specific to the navigation?

I found an app that says it can increase the volume more than the device normally does, im going to give it a test drive. The app is called:

The speaker that comes in the HTC One X is pretty shabby. Don't think that app will do too much. They made the phone too thin. Hard to find a proper speaker that thin.

Make you appreciate the speaker on the Old Nokia N95. On that phone you could literally hear the music or sound in another room on the other side.

I had the same issue over the weekend with a new One X. I returned it to the AT&T store for exchange, when I reset the phone to clear all of my info, the speaker started working normally. I just kept the phone.

The sound on my HTC One X's sat nav system is so quite at maximum volume that I can't hear it above tyre noise or my car's cooler fans.
