Soon to be new Smartphone user, will probably get a Droid next week.

Monty from WV here and next week I expect to be upgrading from a Razr to a Moto DROID. My wife is also updating, probably to a HTC Eris. Neither of us have every owned a smart phone before. I go back and forth between Windows and Linux PCs at home so I know what it is to have a "young" OS and sometimes taking some time, making some compromises to make everything work. My wife wants her Windows PC so it will be interesting to see how she does with the Eris, especially around her iphone using friends.

I've already done a bunch of reading here, learned alot, answered some questions I had and helped me setting on the Moto over the HTC. Will be nice to have one of each in the family and a little over 5 weeks to decide if we made a mistake with out choices.
