Happy New to forum from Ames, IA

hey fellow android users. i just got an htc desire through us cellular on 12.23.10. love the phone. having some battery issues right now, so i've been browsing some reviews/forums to come up some solutions to save battery power. i've seen that battery life tends to get better the longer i have the phone. i've also learned some other tips such as killing auto syncs, etc. to help save power. right now, only getting 6-8 hours with little usage and lots of standby time. i look forward to learning more about this great phone and android os.

Jason

Welcome to the Android Forums!

Other possible ways to save battery power are to delete any unused widgets from any of your phones home screens, dim the screen brightness, and select a more conservative battery profile.
