Default Looking for phone recomendation on Verizon.

Noob, fng, you name it, im green when it comes to android. I have had a blackberry ofr my personal and business use for the past 5 years. Well i finally got fed up. I have gone through 4 BOLDS in the past year, they just keep dieing on me. Verizon moved up my "new every two" date to today. So my computer/IT buddy told me to get an X.

This is what i need to have, an easy calendar to use, decent battery life and ability to access my email instantly. What would you folks recommend?

All the Verizon droids look the same to me. Help a brother out!

welcome! i have the x after having the curve 8330 for 2 years. i love it! the battery life isn't the best but the phone rocks! (you can get an extended life battery) i'm also with VZW and we got the droid2 and got the x for free. the x looked big to me at first but now after a month it seems normal. i don't think you'll be disappointed. but go to the store, play around with them and get a feel for them.
