Thumbs up New to android

Got a pulse recently, early christmas present.

Looking forward to some simple application development. Like Android so far, although the sheer quantity of applications in the store is a little overwhelming. Which ones to choose.

Struggling with camera and geo-tagging today.
Coverage with T-mobile in hampshire seems a bit weak. Continual problems with googlemaps keeping up when travelling. Think I need a pay-for sat nav and an in car charger.
