Cry

I have the Touchpad II. Iv been tryin all day to sort this out but i havnt much knowledge of these tablets or androids so any advice will really help. Iv also just found a site www.andappstore.com on another forum but am not sure if i should try downloadin from this. Every android forum seems to have a lot of the same complaint but some of the solutions that are being offered are either for phones or are too complicated to follw.. If somone does know how i can start downloadin apps i would really appreciate it if you explain to me step by step.

How to download and install apps on the Android Tablet
Insert a micro SD card into your tablet (Some tablets will not allow you to download from the market unless you have a micro SD card inserted into the unit due to the size of the internal hard drive.)
Units using Android OS below 2.0 may encounter issues with downloading apps. The new Android Marketplace software may not be compatible with these units due to processor speed and units functionality.
Many overseas units come with a preinstalled bundle software pack which has an outdated Android Marketplace.
First
Power on your unit
Connect to the internet with your 3G or Wi-Fi
Go to your application folder where all your apps are stored
Click on the Market app
First time use will require that you sign into the android Marketplace with a Google email account.
Sign in using your Google account.
Click Apps
Click All applications (You will see Top paid and Top free apps)
Click Top free
Select the app you wish to download
Click Install at the bottom of your screen
Click ok at the bottom of your screen if you want the application to have access to other applications on your device (It will list the applications it will have access to)
Your item will be downloaded
Apps are downloaded to your app folder on your device
In the process of trying to load your device with desired apps, it is important to understand the impact that the app will have on your device.
As with any software which plays the same role, software may conflict with each other if running at the same time… It would be senseless to download 4 antivirus apps which would scan all downloads at the same time.
You may also click menu while on the Android Marketplace to view downloads and to update downloaded apps already installed on your device.
You may also click on an app in the downloads list to either delete or open the app on your device
Apps are third party software. Do your own research on the developer and history of the app prior to download. Similar apps may come from different sources. Please ensure you can trust the site you download the app as to not inadvertently download a virus to your device
The thing that you have to be aware of here is that the Google Android Marketplace is not the only place to look for apps. In fact, there are many independent providers of apps which can be found over the internet.
You can may go to apadirobottouch.com to get more information regarding apps or to view units which allow you access to various app stores
