Welcome to Android Forums.

That was a widget. If you longpress anywhere on the home screen, you should see a menu, select widget and look for clock or weather or both. You might have to try a few but if you don't have one you can get one from the market. Beautiful Widgets Lite - Android app on AppBrain is pretty nice.

Welcome to the AndroidForums, rmentone!

Good to hear from a former Eris user, too! (I still have mine, btw ).

Yeah, lunatic59 (as always ), is right...HTC Sense for the Eris had some built-in widgets already in-place for us.

There should also be lots of widgets out there, both free and paid, that will do the job for you.

Cheers and glad you signed-up.

I'm not always right. I was wrong once ... I think it was 1974 ... it was a Tuesday.
