Ziplip HTC GPS problem

My HTC takes a very long time to fine street directions....sometimes never

Welcome to AF!

Usually the first thing you want to do when you haven't used GPS in awhile is go outside and let it get a fix on the satellites. Especially if you have travelled a long distance with GPS off.

Also what kind of HTC phone do you have? there are people in the phone forums here that might know more about specifics for your phone

Welcome to Android Forums, madbart.

if You turn on network based location services, it can always use the towers to triangulate your location as a fallback. It's not as accurate as GPS satellites, but it's not too bad, either.
