Okay, so I have an LG Optimistic V. Im not too much of a tech guy. I just paid for this phone a couple of months ago..and I want my money's worth, don't we all? >:]
Model-VM670
Android version-2.2.1
Kernel vrsion-2.6.32.9
I have no computer my phone is my world. No ways to fix screamo ups with a desktop. I really want to root so I can:
-possibly get a full functioning updated android version 2.2.2
-increase battery life
-get more internal memory
-have a faster processer? I also need to know how to do that
-have all apps on SD card

Please any information is helpful. Download links are amazing please. Im 14 please don't redirect me to another thread please give me super detailed step by step I've never done this before. I spent from 12am to six searching this site for something that made complete sense to me. Im not dumb...be honest, this is confusing to a first time guy right? I just don't wanna brick my phone. Please help!

Okay thank you, did this on my phone and saw that this wasn't for support shortly after posting. I apologize for that. I've been searching this site under LG optimus v and all thongs rooted, and I feel comfortable with the site and the community seems accommodating and pretty helpful. I just couldn't find a step by step that would accommodate my specific wants/needs
