Default Hello World!

Hello All!

I am a satisfied owner of an HTC Desire phone, but after a year of use, every time I try to update the apps, I get the message "low storage", this is driving me nuts and I want to find the way to install as many apps as possible in the SD. I am using an app call phone2SD, which successfully sent some of the apps to my SD, but I still have this problem. This is the main driver for me to sign up here, of course I would like to hear about new applications and developments.

Thanks a lot, I hope I can find here the answer to my problems!

Rgds!

Welcome to Android Forums, JM!

Yours is a common problem with that generation of phone. My Nexus One, the sister of the Desire suffers similar problems.

The quickest way to reclaim space is to get rid of the apps you don't use. Then empty the caches of the biggest data users. You can also set the default install location to the sd card which will permit even more apps to be moved to the sd card. If you want to put in the extra effort you could flash a custom rom without bloatware and carrier overhead.
