Default Backing up HTC sensation

Evening all,

This is the first post and i would greatly appreciate some help and a little direction with the HTC sensation.

I am struggling with backing up data on the phone in particular the calendar and contacts. I have recently lost data on previous phones contacts/calendars etc and need to know how to safe guard this information. I am interested in backing up this information to SD card or alternatively my laptop, with purchasing an application from the market which invariably costs.

Thanks in advance

Welcome to Android Forums, Northern!

If you sync your contacts and calendar with your gmail account you are always backed up. If you want to save an extra copy, it's easier to export them from gmail on a PC.
