Default New with HTC one V

New to android Looking forward to delivery of an Xlink to "patch" cell to my home phones Also have voip through a Cisco pap2T

Will see if the Voip line can be coaxed into operating as a landline connection to the XLink

An update may help some The link to the voip worked but the voip appears to have enough delay or ? that calls are not steady & messages easily lost.

Now have 2 HTC phones & the Xlink is not working well into the cordless system even with the message function off. Ok on calls out but calls in don't answer & revert to busy signal on some occasions . This is in spite of the phone being very close to the X Link so no distance issue. Tried updated firmware - no improvement

Update :Nothing seems to help - tried corded phone & moving Xlink away from router (wireless signal interfere or computers on Bluetooth

Is it possible the XLINK is defective? or is there a set up option on phones to maintain connection longer or ???
