Hi All!

I have recently purchased a generic Chinese Android TV Box. Details below.

• Model HXSTB Android TV Box X2 Series Rev. A
• Running Android 2.3.5
• Kernel version 2.6.35.7
• Build Number 20120612.174413
• Cortex A9 1GHz

It works well except I cannot get a USB webcam to work (which is one of the reasons I bought it!). I have tried factory restore twice and still nothing. It does not recognize the camera on the system or through Skype.

I assume it has something to do with the 'Camera' app not working. When I try and open the 'Camera' app it comes up with the error below:

process com.android.camera not working

Does anyone have any ideas? Does anyone know how to update Android or the camera app on this TV box?

Hi, welcome to the forums.

Unfortunately, I have *zero* experience with android TV devices. And your factory resets would fix anything I could have thought of. The only thing I would try is maybe an alternative camera app?
