galaxy s2 dat ausage
Hi all
great sight so hopefully someone can help , i have a galaxy s2 which is eating my data usage lately. I have free sky sports on top of my package but it needs my data on to be able to watch it. last week when checking my usage on line it went from 8mb straight up to 320mb after watching the football. i contacted orange who said the problem wont be their end so looking into the phone it seems the android os is eating all the data.
after looking through many forums i eventually done a factory reset, blocked all background data usage and disabled all running apps.
this morning with having it connected into the wifi the android os has used 853kb, better than it was, so can anyone explain what is the android os and is there any other way of slowing down my data usage, the data usage is always switched off.
looking forward to your help
