I have a Verizon Droid X that I just replaced with a Droid Razr Maxx.
I also have a Droid X that stopped working (for spare parts???)
I now feel comfortable trying to root the working (but with no Verizon service) Droid X.
My brother in law talked me out of rooting the Droid X while it was my main phone.
Can you PLEASE steer me in the right direction so that I root the Droid X CORRECTLY,, and possibly,, AFTER THAT,, I will go ahead and root the Razr Maxx
Also, is there anyplace that will FIX the broken Droid X so that I have a spare Droid X???
I know it can be done, and I wanna ROOT!!!!
I just want to be SAFE so that I don't end up BRICKING my working phone.
