Default New Atrix 2 User!

Hi, my name is Jerry. I just bought an unlocked Atrix 2 and Lapdock 100, and I'm on Walmart's Family Mobile, which uses T-Mobile's network.

I started my Android journey on T-Mobile contract with a Motorola Defy in 2010. I LOVED that phone! I found out that Walmart's Family Mobile gave me a better deal, and I was still on the T-Mobile network, so, I changed plans. Well, after the Defy slid out of my hands and on the concrete face-down, I found out that Gorilla Glass don't do so hot when dropped onto concrete (note to self). After dealing with the busted screen with Scotch tape protecting my fingers for about 2 months, the phone had enough, and the screen died. After dealing with my old Samsung Gravity T( what a POS) for another 2 months, I finally got the Lapdock 100, and then the Atrix 2.

Just so you know, I've been eying the Atrix since the first one came out solely because of the Lapdock idea. I think it's a cool concept, combining a phone and laptop. I added one thing to make the Lapdock work so much easier, my old trusty Logitech Tracball. It works like a champ with this thing!! I might get the Lapdock 500, but not sure, as the Atrix 2 doesn't work all of the extras that it provides, but, the bigger screen would be nice! Another thing I might do is switch to Straight talk so I can at least get 3G on this thing, this "E" signal is killing me, even though, it seems to work ok.

Well, that's it, this seems to be a great forum, can't wait to get talking with everyone!

Jerry
