Default Samsung Fascinate texting issue

My daughter's Samsung Fascinate (Telus) phone - but using Petro Canada Mobility SIM - was having texting glitches. She decided to do a factory reset, but now the problem is that she can only receive, not send ANY texts. All messages come in but trying to reply gets a "failed" message. I have tried to configure the APN many times using different settings I have found online, but nothing seems to work.

Any suggestions are appreciated!

Welcome to the forums Lindyloorpn

Glad to have you on the site!, I would suggest if anything, to contact your provider, see if they can assist you at getting the device to work because it sounds like it's more on their end of an issue.

Feel free to get back in touch with us after you call them though!

Thanks for joining!

Thank you; I did not contact my provider since we are using a Telus phone on a Rogers network using a PetroCanada Mobility SIM card, so I really didn't know who would be willing to help me! I had taken the SIM card out and tried it in my phone, and it worked so I didn't think that was the problem. However, several days and many tries later, I decided to try the factory reset again. This time the phone will send text messages with my SIM card, but my daughter's card doesn't work in my phone. Ergo, the SIM card is at fault! I am buying a new one today and the problem should be solved.

I appreciate your responses; it's great to know there is somewhere to turn if I have another issue!
