Question I can't find my gmail app!

I know I have the gmail app on my phone. I can find it under "manage applications" - and when I got to google play to download it (again), it tells me I can either uninstall, or open. I even get email notifications. However, the gmail app is not listed under my applications, and therefore I cannot make a shortcut for it on my screen. The only way I can access it is by going to try to download it in google play, and hitting "open". It's driving me crazy. Anyone know how to find it?

Hello there kamandatory!
Can you long press on your home screen to add the app?
Or the other option would be to go to your manage apps and uninstall the app, the reinstall it from the play store
Hope this helps :d

It won't let me long press and add that way, because it's not in my app list for some reason! I will try to uninstall and reinstalling it. Thanks!
