Hey everyone,

Well, after using a crappy Tracfone for many years, tonight I ordered a Samsung Galaxy Note 2 (Grey) via T-Mobile. Planning to do the monthly $30 deal, which is perfect for me (100 minutes talk, 5GB 4G data etc.). Also have SPIGEN oleophobic screen protectors and a simple TPU case on order, so my Note 2 doesn't get damaged.

I'm a gadget fan in general, and have owned various iPods, iPads, and even a Samsung Galaxy Player 4.0 which was my introduction to Android. My most recent gadgets include an iPad 3 and Sony Vita. I love all my gadgets, and am not a fanboy for any company. But I will admit that I think Android is a nicer OS than iOS.

I chose the Note 2 because my eyesight is not the best, and the big screen is incredibly easy to see and read. Plus, the S-Pen is just awesome IMO. I used to be a hardcore PDA user, having owned various Pocket PC's and Palm devices in the past, so having a stylus is natural for me. Note 2 is basically the pocket-friendly tablet I've been wanting (sorry Apple, the iPad Mini is too big) plus the smartphone I've been wanting all in one.

Anyway, glad to join this nice community. Looking forward to learning more about my Note 2 and Android in general.
