new this forum and having troubling syncing calendar

Hello everyone,
I'm new to to Android Forums. I currently have a Samsung Galaxy Exhibit 4G and am planning to upgrade to a Galaxy S2 or S3. Also considering one of the HTC smartphones although I don't care for the fact that you can't take the battery out.
One of the reason's I joined is because I've decided to get more organized and started putting info on my Google Calendar. The calendar is not syncing with my phone. Not sure why that is. I've checked my settings and everything seems to be ok but there have been a few times in the past year that I was not receiving Gmail on my phone for several days (was over a week at one point) and then suddenly I start receiving them again. Currently not getting Gmail calendar info. Any assistance is greatly appreciated.

Make sure in your accounts & sync that the calender is automatically to sync as that could be a problem.

You also could try clearing the cache for accounts & sync through settings/apps/all apps

There are many htc phones with a removable battery. Don't quote me here but I'm not sure if any htc device that doesn't have a removable battery.
