Default Problem with Droid 4

Hi there, I am really annoyed with a problem I am having with my droid 4. Most texts I receive come as a multimedia messages that have to be downloaded and they take a really long time to download. The guy at the Verizon store had no idea what to do to fix this. Help please!

Welcome to Android Forums, jpplove!
We are glad you have joined us here.

I would think that there is something in the settings that is causing this problem, but I am not really too familiar with that phone.
I am including the link to the Droid 4 forum below, and hopefully if you post there, you will find some users there that can help solve this issue.

Hi jpplove. Good to have you here at Android Forums.

Sorry to hear about your texting issue. I'd suggest you take a look through our Droid 4 section, and see if someone else has had this problem and maybe found a solution for it. If not, then that's probably the best place to ask.

Good luck getting it worked out, and I hope you'll enjoy your time here.

If any of their advice doesn't help you, I'm sure it's nothing a factory reset won't fix. And if your a root user that's where titanium backup comes in to help with replacing apps/data or mybackup pro if your not a root user.

Welcome to AF! Hope you enjoy your stay here.
