Hi
After having the HTC Hero for a long time I decided to go for the I phone, It was good and easy to use but Android is just in another league.
So now for the last year I have been using android the Samsung galaxy s2. I think its time for an upgrade. Had been looking at the s3 but saw the Note yesterday and was mesmerized by the screen. I think that's won me over.
Anyone any thoughts?

Also can anyone advise me to an app where I can send group text messages which will also allow me to send messages from my tablet and desktop?

Thanks.

Hello Goliath!
Welcome to AF!
In my opinion, the Note is just too big for me to carry around. It does look nice and the screen is sweet, but for me, it's too big.

As far as an app for group texts, I use GoSmsPro available in the Play Store.
But as far as texting from your tablet or desktop, I am not sure as I don't utilize that option, sorry. But someone else may know of something for ya

Welcome to AF. Good luck on your decision, both phones are a god choice.
