Blush htc one x + driver install issues

ok i am really new at all of this so please bear with me. my dell laptop w vista ultimate says cant install at &t htc one x + drivers. more correctly it says device unplugged wizard stopped by user (or thereabouts). anyway ...... i downloaded HTC sync manager but dont get all my options some are greyed out, for instance sync settings. all i can do is import my music. when i go to device mgr it has yellow triangle w exclamation mark. when i look it gives error 28 no drivers installed. but they are there i go manually look in a drive listed as I:? under a specific user. but not one i normally use. would like to know what kto do? simply if possible as im not real familiar. not sure if USB is somehow not rite or if settings not rite. thank you for your time and any help you can provide.

Welcome to the forums.

Unfortunately I really don't have an exact answer for you, but I'm certain if you visit your device forum you will find one, now I'm on my phone so I can't link forums but if you look under our device list yours will be there.

Otherwise try soft reseting the device by turning it off for half a minute and if you can remove the battery.

Hope this helps
