Just bought my first tablet Nexus 7. I was wondering if I could use standard micro usb charging devices that are used for cell phones, like usb to micro on desktop and mobile car charger?

Nexus 7 - Android Forums

Welcome to Android Forums, bbqjoe.

There's the link to the device area here at AF where other users can help.

I see no issue with compatible chargers, but let's be sure by consulting with those with the N7.

Welcome to AF bbqjoe.

Smoked bbq?

Any micro usb will work, but keep in mind the factory one charges at 2A. USB from your pc is at .5A so you may still see battery drain in you are using it while connected to your computer.
