Default i just got my first android device

a note 2 i am very confused so far, too used to the simplicity of ios

Hi Demacia, and welcome to AF

I think being used to something is often a large part of simplicity. But have you found our Note 2 forum yet? That's a place where you can share information and ask for help from other people with the same device (the Note 2 has a few features which aren't found on many other android devices).
