Hey Alan...

Welcome to the community. I've moved your other thread to where it will be better answered.

In my opinion, I don't think the Samsung Galaxy s3 is that big - and plus its one of killer phones of 2012. I'm a HTC fan type guy, but if I were lookin for an awesome device...the Galaxy s3 or the Samsung Note 2(and this phone has a 5.5" screen) sweet.

However, you will be the one having the phone, so I'll say, buy what makes you feel comfortable.
