I have a Samsung Galaxy Precedent and am borrowing my son's Galaxy Proclaim to consider buying it. I like it a lot, but one problem may keep me from buying it unless you guys have a solution:
When I slide down the Notifications panel, it usually slides back up! I have tried sliding slowly, holding it for a few seconds after sliding, rebooting. But I still usually have to try many times before it will "stick" and stay down so that I can use the Notifications panel. I also tried holding it down with one hand and using the other hand to touch "buttons" on the panel, but that doesn't work either.
I've been eavesdropping for a year, and just joined today. Thanks for the past help! and I hope someone has an idea for me now.
I tried what you suggested, Digital Controller, and my first attempt to slide down the Notifications page was successful! But sadly, when I repeated the attempt, it went back to requiring a number of tries before it would stay down.
Well, this is embarrassing. I should have asked my 13-year old first before bothering you guys! He showed me that I just need to lift my finger before it gets to the bottom of the screen (that always worked on my Galaxy Precedent!) Anyway, I'm relieved to have this problem solved, but embarrassed to show my lack of savvy.
