I seem to be getting the hang of my S Moment but would like to know which app is best for taking notes (I miss my Treo's writing tool and enjoyed those times I did'nt have to type).

there are tons of text notes apps in the Market... just do a search ... like first easier to search on AndroLib, Find all applications and games available in the Android Market for your Android Phone, HTC Dream, HTC Magic etc... read about then d/l and try until you find one you like ..
