Default has anyone got the kfhd to detect adhoc wifi?

has anyone got the kfhd to detect adhoc wifi? i've been tinkering with it about a week, fubared my wifi at one point, fixed it, broke it about 20 more times swoping out diff wpa_supplicant and wpa_supplicant.conf files trying to get to detect adhoc wifi from my phone. Any ideas, suggestions, tips, n Thanks for any help

have you tried the ZT-180 Adhoc Switcher.apk ? it works with the kindle fire. but i havnt tried it with the kindle fire HD

According to this link, ad hoc isn't possible. Info is in the item specs.
