The phone is now rooted and the Wifi tether prog works 100% along with the rest of the phone. That was my goal to get the wifi tethering working. I would like to say thanks to everyone that put input into this project. This was really going out into new uncharted territory for me. Like Lewis and Clark did a few 100 years ago.

So it's my 1st droid, but it's Linux so not that alien to me
