Notsure random calls / apps stopping

There are two phones both are less then 4 months old and both are having issues. On one phone calls seem to go through, but people report that they aren't getting them. Later the phone will ring out when no one is touching it. Suddenly you will hear someone saying hello. Not pocket dialing, more like table dialing.??

On the other in the middle of using an app the phone will kick you out to the home page. Usually it does this during games, but other apps can trigger it too, so it doesn't seem to be related to one obvious app.

Looking through the other threads I was really surprised to not see any posts about these issues. If two phones in the same house are having issues it would seem someone else is having similar issues. Both are stock and the one doing the random calling has very few apps installed, it really is almost factory stock.

Thanks for your help.

Sounds "pranky" to me.

But I'd try turning off then removing the SIM card in the device with the calling issue, and removing cache and data via Application Manager in all 3rd party and stock apps then rebooting on the other one.

I'd also keep a close eye and ear out for smirking or laughing in other rooms.

Wish you were right. Meanwhile I'll look into the sim and rebooting isn't helping, because I have to battery pulls sometimes when it locks up.

I had the same problem until i did a factory reset and then rooted it. Once in awhile it still kicks me to the home screen. But i find it happens alot less often when i tune my phone with voltage control.
