Default Email on the Rise

Q. on the mail program that is included with the Rise. How do I insert a contact's email ID into the 'To:' field? I do not see a button by the 'To:' field and there is no app. menu option. Also, when I select the email ID from the contacts app, the phone tries to send a message rather than an email.

Also, is the mail program that is included with the Rise the stock Android mail app? Is there a better mail app. for this phone?

Thanks

Depending on what email provider you are using it would be recommended to download the app for that email..

Like the Gmail app for your Gmail account or the Yahoo Mail app for your yahoo account.

Hope this helps!

FYI. I tried the K-9 mail program and it works far better than the Rise's mail app. Also, it is free.

The Kyocera Rise shares the same specs as its brother, the Kyocera Hydro, but it covers a different niche. Instead of being water resistant, it has a slide-out QWERTY keyboard. Specs include a 1 GHz processor, 512 MB of RAM, Android 4.0 and a 3.5... Read More
