Question Help| Root -> ROM

Hi,
I dont really understand fully all the root idea but I understand that I need it in order to install a new rom on my android.

I wanted to know if in the moment I install the new rom will it fix the problem of restarts that my phone makes from time to time.

And second I wanted to ask for a way to find the ROM that will fit my needs.

Thanks a lot!

Hi there,
I don't know why your phone is restarting. it's not normal. before you flash a ROM or anything, I highly suggest a hard reset to see if that will fix the problem

As for ROMs and rooting, look at this thread [REF] ALL ROMS | ROOTING | FAQ's | STICKIES | POSTING RULES - Read before posting - xda-developers ROMs on there are quite old so I'll add CM 7.1 as a recommendation too. CyanogenMod | Android Community Rom based on Gingerbread
hope this helps
