Skype fix

I read somewhere that to fix Skype video on the Ideapad you need to root it first then go into a config file /Library/Application settings/<something>.xml and change the video resolution. I don't recall where I read this now arrgh!
Anyone had success with this?

First off, has anyone been able to root this thing with SuperOneClick?

just an update...

was able to root with new USB drivers and SUperOneClick 2.2
Skype works with the latest version but the video is upside down!!

Skype just pushed an update that fixes the upside video issue for many tablets. The version is 2.8.0.920. I still have a problem with the sending video...the camera is zoomed in and the angle is off.

I am seeing the same zoom-shift problem. At least the images are not upside-down. I also saw a left-right swap but I don't remember which direction. This was in a computer with built-in web-cam to tablet connection.

Anyone has any update on this Skype issue? Picture angle still not correct and thus not usable for me...
