Default Top part of screen unresponsive when laid flat

Ive noticed that my lenovo seems to have this certain problem when its laid flat, like on a table. When I am holding it in my hand or its not on a surface, than the top area of the screen works fine, but when its on a table or on my bed, than the very top part of the screen is very unresponsive, i noticed this when bringing the toolbar down was extremely hard to do when I had it on a table. Im hoping that this can be resolved without shipping it out, though problems like these seem to be related with the hardware. Plus the soft buttons seem to have this problem too. Appreciate any help.

It looks like a hardware issue with the screen or the screen drivers. You might need to call Lenovo support.
