Default Error msg. re: google services framework

I often get a pop-up error message that says Google Services Framework has stopped working. I have to click the "force close" button to get the error message to go away.

When I just now did that, I got another pop-up box that says "The process com.google.process.gapps has stopped unexpectedly" and I also have to click the Force Close button on that one.

Any ideas?

Hi Lookin

You can try going to settings > apps> all, scroll down to google services framework and clear cache and data, then reboot.

Hi Zilar Welcome to AF.

Can you tell me the model number of your phone?

Have you tried doing a factory reset?

Hi Gents,
I have a Samsung Infuse and have the same Google Framework Stopped Force Close and also Google apps Force close issues that started about a month ago. I tried all the cache clearing, app uninstalling, going to the gmail account and resyncing, Sync apps and background checks and unchecked, Download ALL button(no such button on my Gingerbread version), suggestions that did not work. I have not done a complete reset on the phone as that seems not to work for all either and seems a bit of overkill for this issue. Hopefully someone will find the real fix for this. In the meantime someone suggested uninstalling Google services. When I did this the pop ups to Force Close and slow downs stopped and it works like a new phone. Not sure what is negatively affected by this but I prefer it to all the Force Close pop ups. When you go to the play store it prompts you to reload the Google services. Unfortunately soon after I get the pop ups again but downloading updates for apps works between all the Force Close pop ups. So removing the Google Services for me is a workable temp fix until this Google Service and Framework Force Close issue is fixed.
Hope that helps.
Cheers,
Jim
