Default PC driver installation error and GoogleApps/Market with LeOS 2 beta

Hi guys, I have a 3GW100 and I'm using it in Europe. I have used multiple firmwares from both Lenovo and the A-team, but with none of them I could install the PC drivers to access to the phone.

Right now I have the LeOS 2 beta and tried to install LePhone2.0-20101230.msi but the installation just ask me the whole time if I want to install risky drivers but it never installs them. I'm using Windows Vista (Spanish) I also have PCSuite91 installed. Anyone knows how could I install the driver?

Due to the fact that I cannot access the fastboot method I just copied the files in /system from the GoogleApps of Cyanogen but nothing changed. I tried also to delete /data/dalvik-cache/ but there is no difference. What should I do?

Thanks!

Danio, I have this drivers installed on my Portuguese Windows Vista 32 bits and working fine.
When installing I get the "not certified drivers" alert but I just click continue and it goes.

Even with the drivers installed and my phone appering as a ADB Interface device on device manager, I could not make the adb commands to work.

So I tried with the drivers installed and the 91 PC suite opened and them it worked, after that you can follow our hints on this topic:
LEOS 2.0 - Official Announcement
Starting on post #19 to install the Google Aps.

Forget about fastboot, the phone doesnīt need to be in fastboot mode to use the ADB commands and to install google apps.

Hi Pino, thanks. I see the installation of the google apps so confusing. Could you help me? This is what I've done following that thread:
1-Reinstall the Leos 2 beta (so it's new)
2-Installed z4root, root explorer and root my phone
3-Copied gapps-hdpi-20101114-signed.zip contents to my SDCard
4-Used Root Explorer to manually copy them from the SDCard to /system/ (basically the same as push)
5-? Nothing change, I don't see any new apps on the menu. What do I have to do? Install the the new apps copied in /system/app? Execute any other file? I tried installing each of the new apps and I just couldn't install one but then when I tried Market it doesn't start.

Btw, do you know if the phone works with 3G in Europe?

PS: do I need to install the whole android SDK to have adb or can I just copy the file form another computer where I have it installed?

Thanks

1- OK

2 - OK

3 - Extract the gapps-hdpi-20101114-signed.zip contents to the ADB folder at your computer (I believe you can copy the ADB files only, you donīt need to install the role SDK)

4 - Delete the bigger apps (facebook, twitter, maps, etc) from your app folder at your PC. And also delete the Talk.apk and Google voice if you are outside USA.

5 - Have the LeOS 2.0 drivers installed and 91 PC Suite (latest version v1.7.2.190) opened

6 - Turn Wi-Fi off and Mobile data (3G or Edge) on on your Lephone

7 - Use this commands:
adb root
adb push META-INF /system/META-INF/
adb push system /system/
adb reboot

After reboot you phone should have Market, Gmail and some other apps installed.

3 - ADB is part of Android SDK, I believe it's possible to download the ADB files only, but I'm not shure, if you need further informations, read this:
[HOW-TO] ADB for Dummies(How-To Learner's Guide) - xda-developers

5 - I already posted a link to another topic were we already discussed all this matters, you can find the drivers and PC suite here:
LEOS 2.0 - Official Announcement

6 - Yes Wi-Fi off and mobile data on

7 - ADB is DOS only, you must use this commands on a DOS window.

Pino, it worked perfectly! Thank you! You can later install last google maps version from the apk in xda-developers.

I just copied the whole platform-tools from the SDK to make sure adb works

I used Z4root version 1.3.0 and it worked fine, you should be able to install via file explorer.
Try to download from another source.

You can find the 91 PC Suite from here:
http://dl.ipcsuite.com/ipcsuite/pcsuite_for_android_1.7.6.208.exe
or here:
Download pcsuite_for_android_1.7.2.190.exe from AccurateFiles.com

Pino, thanks now its working. there is only one thing I need. LEOS1.7 had automatic sync with gmail contacts, this LEOS2.0 doesn't. How to get this function working?

I don't have the Gmail app either.
