Hi all,
I just received a le pan II from amazon (ordered on Sunday, delivered on Wednesday).
A few issues so far:
light bleeds from the bottom right/left corners
dead pixel on the screen (yes only 1 dead pixel, but for a new product, this is very surprising)
WIFI issue. No consistant signal, i got as high at 18M and am consistant from 6-1Megs in front of the router!
I've tried changing from wep, wpa, wpa2, with no improvement.
Browsing and streaming video is just not happening without excessive buffering.
I'm starting to think there's a bad batch out there.
If a firmware comes out to resolve the wifi issue, i'll live with the screen issues. I'm not trying to flame, all other aspects of this device are great! Hell, i bought this because of the awesome reviews for the first model.
I'd return to Amazon for a replacement, but they're out of stock so I've sent a ticket to le pan support for assistance.
Will post back on the results.
