version 2.2.1 and the security lock

so my phone updated on Sunday, and my phone hasn't locked since.

It locked once on Monday after a dropped call, but that was it, and I can't find a setting that will let me turn that back on.

Is this a new function on the update? Or did mine do something Hinky?

also- I'm gonna warn you, I'm reasonably technically challenged. Any help will be great!

Home>settings>Location & security>Set up screen lock. That should get to where you need to be.
