Default Lg connect unboxing pictures
So I went to MetroPCS today to purchase my LG CONNECT.
Price is $349.00 + tax with a $30.00 mail in rebate. Owner said I am the first one to buy the Connect in GA. Posted some pictures. Enjoy

Its supposed to be a Snapdragon S3, that SoC is not crappy by any means.

Ya was hoping for an OMAP, had too many phones with the Snapdragon and from experience the OMAP is far superior. Biggest thing holding back the Snapdragon S3 is the GPU.

Are u sure about the lack of notification light? I could have sworn I saw a red flashing LED in a video.

in the video it shows a redlight blinking next to the frontside camera is that a refelction or is that a led light built into the phone?

I did notice that blinking purplish light. Heres the thing, while I was recording. I only see that light thru my camera. No light when I look directly at the phone. Thats odd right? Still cant figure how that happened.

Picked up a Connect 4G today. Its my first android phone so I have nothing to compare it against. Its very smooth though. My only complaint is that it drops my wifi during longer downloads. Haven't figured out whats the problem yet, if anyone has any ideas please PM me.

Just picked up one today. it's sexy alright, I'm loving it. but like matlon said, i don't think theres any LED notification light at all.

I love my new Connect, I got one this evening. The sound quality is fantastic. Now I have to try it in the car through bluetooth. I will keep you posted.

The connect is definitely more loud than my old optimus M. I don't have to crank up the volume in the car anymore. The brightness of the screen is awesome.
