LF CONNECT 4G- No email notification

So I notice for this phone, email wont pop up unless you manually go in email and refresh. Anyway to make this thing work normal?

Get the app "k-9" mail. It even pulls yahoo mail.

go to your email account settings and increase the retrieval interval from 0 to whatever you like. I set my mail retrievals intervals for every hour to don't drain my batteries.
I also notice that the email app also pulls yahoo e-mails, something that it couldn't do in my old Lg optimus M.

I already tried that. I set the retrieval interval to 15 min.(thats the lowest). Still doesnt push any notification on the phone. I wonder, is the other apps is interfering with it.
