I got mine the other day and got it all screwed up have the new file MS840VV4
but cant get it to take so I loaded one of palyfulgod's rom and it runs great.
the main thing the sales woman told me with the V it uses wifi for voice and you are actually usiing digital phone calls. If you know how to install the MS840VV4 forgot to backup the rom before I started jacking with the phome.

V does not mean it uses wifi for voice.

The new Connects being sold are the VoLTE version with new firmware. Some older versions may still be sold if that's what they have in stock. But I know we can only order the new versions.

I hate when sales people dont learn before they speak...

So is there new hardware in the new model or is it just new firmware?
