My battery is horrible! Im getting about 4-5hrs with nothing on and just texts and random reboots, crashes and i get like twenty texts in the middle of the night from earlier that day. I cant take it anymore im thinking about getting the lg motion or maybe s3. Do you guys think the motion will go down in price after s3 release or any rumor price on s3?

some say 500 for s3 i would say definitely not more than 500 for the s3
the lg motion price will not go down
ill tell u right now the lg motion is an AMAZING phone. i was very surprised i got it for my gf and it is super speedy. has the same processor as the s3 and has only half the ram but its still 1gb
the functionality is great and the camera is very impressive

i would say if you dont mind the screen size go for the motion. im getting the s3 if u have the money for it go for it but keep in mind the s3 is very fragile and you will probably have to spend a good share of money on cases accessories and such

hey pl go to my thread about battery life.might help you out to see if you have a rogue app or some hidden setting in an app that may be using up your battery or causing your phone to stay awake and not go into sleep mode when the screens off.

Im going to check out your thread now. Yeah screen size doesnt bother me and for a third of the price of the S3 im going to get the motion

I have mixed feelings about my phone.

On one hand the phone runs everything I throw at it, the screen looks really good compared to some other phones I've seen, it has gorilla glass so I don't have to worry about getting a screen protector.

On the other hand the phone has horrible battery life and does tend to get hot under heavy usage.

I bought an extended battery which will last me about 8 hours of me watching videos, playing games, browsing the internet on 4g so its doing what I need it to for now, not to mention it doesn't seem to get *as hot* as the stock battery.

The LG Motion looks like an amazing phone, but after using the LG Connect and the HTC Evo V (HTC Evo 3D) I can't go back to using any phone with a screen smaller than 4 inches.

sorry it took me a while to get back to you,we just had a baby on the 3rd and have been tired as hell.you know long hospital stays,lil to no sleep etc.Anyhow if you still need help with the bbs app let me know.

to start off unplug your phone,let it run its course for about 4 hours,then open up bbs and hit menu and dump to file.find the file and post it here and i'll see whats draining your battery.

More than likely it is the LG Keyboard draining the battery, use Swype if you're running a stock ROM because it uses the battery a lot less.

The other thing you should do is ROOT the phone and delete ALL of the Metropcs bloat software, most if not all of those apps are CONSTANTLY running and will kill your phone battery.

I don't even plug my phone in over night to charge, I just have it plugged in here while I'm at work, my phone is currently going on 13 hours on battery and I still have 32% of it left, with WIFI on at home and data on here at work.

The other thing once you're rooted is install the BLACK PLAGUE kernel, use the stock settings of the max and lowest CPU frequency and set it to INTERACTIVE as the governer.

Doing all of this will get you my same battery life and stop all of the randomness.

Thanks for the help guys, but I bought the Motion. Its an amazing device, best part is my phone lasted all day with wifi and non stop texting and web surfing when I got home my battery was about 60%
