Default Connect vs. Motion

I also posted this on the Motion forum but I'm not sure if there's much action over there.

I'm looking at phones for my son, I noticed that the Motion and the Connect both have a price of $149 right now. Between the 2 phones which one would you choose considering they're both the same price?

If you want to root and flash custom roms or need a 4" screen thats more clear than the Motion, then pick the Connect. But if you want a better dual core processor, a gigabyte more memory and ICS, then the Motion is the way to go.
