Definitely an increase from 3026. Hit 4.24 mbps, and normally I'd get around 1.7 lol.

Just Did the *228 way to update the PRL and I can confirm that it updates to 3027 on the Huawei M835 as well

took long time to update...maybe systems overwhelmed....the androidforums effect...
slightly better ping and upload(4mb), download same @2½ jersey just outside nyc.

If I turn on roaming and set it to metropcs only will I incur any extra charges and will it help service? If charges apply, how much?

The prl is just a list of the towers MetroPCS uses for there phones meaning yes on better reception for signal for 4G/3G and calls

He was asking about the roaming being set to Metro only having an effect on signal, not prl.

Try the latest 3029 first usually an update is better for most but not all. You can see if it is better by running a speedtest prior to upgrading it.

The last test on top I went outside-still nothing spectacular you know.
